Church Relations

Habitat for Humanity serves the church as local missionaries endeavoring to restore hope in the lives of those who despair from having to live in deplorably sub-standard housing so that the needy will discover God's love already in their midst.

ECM Habitat for Humanity honors the principle of developing ecumenical relationships with local Churches and other faith based communities to demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through love in action.

HABITAT ECUMENICAL BUILDING PROJECTS PROVIDE CHURCHES AND OTHER COMMUNITIES OF FAITH

With an opportunity to fulfill their spiritual ideals...

  • Provides a focused social mission within the local community...
  • Promotes ecumenical unity within communities of faith...
  • Promotes internal fellowship as members pray and work together for those in need...

A Clarion Call For Help! Habitat needs church members to serve on our Church Relations Committee. The committee meets about once every two months and makes recommendation to the ECM Habitat Board of directors.

If your Church would like to recommend a family in need of housing or you wish to learn more about our projects, please contact us at 763-689-0288 or E-mail us at chabitat@ecenet.com.
